What Happened When I Gave Up Alcohol

Giving up alcohol is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve found out how to truly enjoy life. Without alcohol, there is no numbing reward for a good day or a bad day. It’s just life.

There is a lot more time in the day if you don’t drink. You can still get stuff done, work out, take a yoga class after 5pm. And, you will remember it the next day!

I drinks coffee, tea and lots of water. I disagree about the non alcoholic wine…Fre Chardonnay is pretty good.

While others drink their calories, I enjoy dessert. It’s so funny how those that drink will consume over 500 calories before dinner drinking cocktails, wine and beer, but after dinner when you order dessert they act superior because they are passing on dessert. Or worse, they just want to share your dessert.

The thing people should know is living without alcohol is a choice. I don’t consider it a sacrifice. For me, it’s the best choice.
