Hey there! Welcome to my blog.

My name is Syafiq (pronounced as Shafik) and I'm based in London. I'm currently juggling a few different roles - I'm a multidisciplinary advocate and a pharmacist. I'm passionate about learning new things and making a difference in the world.

My journey to where I am today hasn't been the most straightforward. I grew up in Malaysia, and later studied pharmacy at King's College London. I had always dreamed of studying medicine, but as you may have noticed, I am not a doctor. But looking back, I realize that everything happens for a reason. Being rejected from medicine motivates me to explore what I am really interested in. I can tell you for a fact that I have tried many things. Most of them end up in failure but it taught me very crucial lesson: the courage to try new things, the courage to fail, the courage to admit mistakes, the courage to seek help and most importantly the emotional resilience to deal with failure.

To date, I've gained experience working in research, community pharmacy, and advocacy. I'm always looking for ways to make things easier and more efficient, and I'm interested in so many different things that it can be hard to know what to focus on. That's why I created this website - to explore my ideas and interests and share what I've learned with the world.

I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, which can be both a challenge and a blessing. It's helped me think outside the box, approach problems from unique angles, and come up with innovative solutions. My dream is to become a judge one day, because the role of a judge involves working in various areas of law, which aligns perfectly with my ADHD personality. Right now, I'm finishing up my Graduate Diploma in Law, and I'm really enjoying studying equity and trust, land law, and research. Furthermore, I am currently completing the National Advocacy Qualification to enhance my skills and knowledge as an advocate.
