I absolutely love that someone was able to do this! I can’t applaud Lublin enough. As charities we work toward such expansive goals it is easy to feel pressured to do more, and more, and more in an attempt to whatever huge problem we are attempting to tackle. Which, of course, winds up being counter productive. I love the willingness to assess and refocus.
Too often we get caught up in trying to solve problems we forget to pause and evaluate our efforts. We focus on ROI, or number of people at a conference, but rarely do we spend the time to come up with trials to measure how effective those efforts are. Having to thing qualitatively and empirically about causes that you love is hard, and hard work. DoSomething.org gets serious credit for this.
