Six tips for professionals

1. Put your time in: Everyone starts out doing grunt work till trust is proven

2. Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss

3. Take control of your relationship with your boss and team members

4. Find a mentor and manage the relationship strategically

5. Join a professional body and build your network

6. Embrace change and reflect on what you are learning daily

I shared the above six tips with Mr. Zahir Khan working in MOL Pakistan since 2013. Firstly I sent him an email, which was about requested for 10 t0 15 minutes for sharing few tips then he sent me a text message after 3 to 4 hours that he is free, then I called him and after some discussion I shared the above tips.

He told me these are the mandatory requirements everyone working in a professional industry should have these skills as according to him he saw a lot of example people who are lacking these skills cannot survive in the industry or facing very tough time.

After having almost 15 minutes discussion with Mr. Zahir Khan I realized that how much difficult would be the environment of industry. At the end of discussion I say thank you to him for his precious time giving to me.
