Fiverr has introduced a new feature and most of the new sellers are not happy with it. It has changed the feature of buyer requests to something more interesting. But most of the sellers and buyers are not aware of the fact how good this new update is for the new sellers as well as the old ones. The new update of Fiverr is really good. The company has improved the matching system which helps the buyers to find a seller with the right skill set for their needs.
In this new update, Fiverr has introduced a matchmaking system that allows buyers to find sellers who are capable of completing their tasks with ease.
Sending buyer request was the feature that most of the new sellers was using to get connected with the buyer. This feature was helpful but for a few months, it was being misused by scammers. Most of the new buyers were scamming the new sellers. yes, they were targeting the new sellers to offer them jobs on telegram and they were asked to visit their websites or blog just to get the traffic for their page. New sellers who weren't aware of these tactics were being used by these scammers. I was asked many times to write samples of 1200 words or 700 words for some herbal medicines as a free sample, and guess what, I was never paid for it. when I asked to place an order on my gig, the person on the other side said he was looking for something interesting, and boom he never replied to me again.
These scams were increasing on Fiverr day by day. So, Fiverr came up with this brilliant idea of matching the sellers with the buyers on its own. YES, Fiverr AI will now match your gig keywords and description with the seller's requirements and you will only see the requests when you are a good match to the buyer's requirement. You can then bid for the project and this way you don't have to offer less price for your services as a new seller.
The benefit of these new features are:
- now Fiverr will not accept every other post from buyers without complete review.
- posts that are against the community standard will be declined immediately without even being shown to the sellers.
- new sellers don't have to start with less prices for the orders. Instead, they can ask the market competent prices for their services if they are chosen because of their strong and diversified portfolio.
- new sellers have to write a description of their gig with better keywords and offer services that they are very good at.
- This feature will benefit new sellers without being misused by fake buyers.
