I realized 3 possible reasons for my inaction in the real world.

  1. Too much information consumption may lead to inaction.
  2. Absence of a strong emotional desire to accomplish worthwhile things.
  3. Absence of real necessity in the external world.

Let’s discuss in detail the second reason for inaction.

2. Absence of a strong emotional desire to accomplish worthwhile things.

Reason will guide us to the right path, but it is insufficient to take us to the action field.

Only emotions can get us out of bed and force us to take certain actions for the accomplishment of certain targets.

It’s difficult to sustain anything without a strong emotional pull. Reason will guide us on the path to success. But only strong emotions will make us persistent on that path. Otherwise, we will change our path with every swing of the wind.

But what if you don’t have any strong emotions to pursue things? Or you just don’t know how to attach your emotions to the right things?

Then it becomes difficult for you to take actions. You know enough to achieve success, and you are capable too. But you just don’t have the drive to take action.

And unless you don’t take action, you won’t get real first-hand learning. In short, you won’t achieve your targets.

Now, what is the solution to the absence of emotional pull?

The solution is simple. Attach yourself with your loved ones. Share your goals with your mother or spouse.

The support you got from there will be enough for you to take action. Once you start taking action, it will become easier with time.

Emotions have great powers, both positive and negative, like nuclear energy. Harness the emotional energy and use it wisely.

The trick is to get yourself in the action field. You can apply various techniques for this. See what works for you.
