Announcing the SyFu Web3 Wallet: Integration of MPC and ERC4337 Contract Wallet

We are excited to announce an innovative Web3 wallet that integrates an MPC (Multi-Party Computation) wallet and an ERC4337 contract-based spending wallet designed for games. This Web3 wallet is available on the testnet and can be used with the currently available test alpha version of our app.

The SyFu Web3 wallet is designed to address several key challenges that users face when managing digital assets in the Web3 space, as well as to enhance the gaming experience within SyFu’s game.

Features of the SyFu Web3 Wallet:

1. MPC-Based Key Distribution

Private keys are divided into three parts and stored using the following authentication methods:
- Email Authentication (email used during SyFu account creation)
- Phone Number Authentication
- Device Authentication

Traditionally, private keys were stored in a single location, which posed significant stress and risk of theft or loss for users. The SyFu wallet significantly reduces the risk of single key exposure by managing the private key in a distributed manner.

Additionally, these authentications are one-time authentications, making them resilient against phishing attacks. By clearing two of the three authentications, users can restore the private key and access the wallet. This eliminates the need for private key backup management, allowing users to manage their digital assets with peace of mind, free from the stress and risks previously encountered.

2. Transaction Security

Transaction signatures are generated using the partial private key, ensuring the private key is never exposed during execution. Instead of reconstructing the private key, partial signatures are generated and combined to securely sign and complete the transaction.

SyFu Spending Wallet Features

1. ERC4337 Contract-Based Wallet (Spending Wallet)

SyFu’s spending wallet is based on the ERC4337 standard, utilizing account abstraction to offer advanced features such as batch processing of transactions and alternative gas fee payments.

2. Non-Custodial Wallet for Web3 Gaming

The SyFu Spending wallet functions as a non-custodial wallet for managing digital assets within Web3 games.

3. Easy Access with SyFu Wallet

Users can easily access the spending wallet using their existing SyFu wallet authentication, inheriting the same high level of security provided by MPC.
Game transactions are securely managed, ensuring a seamless experience for gamers.

Usability

Ease of Use: The SyFu Web3 Wallet interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing users to easily access the spending wallet.
Multi-Currency Support: Various types of digital assets can be managed in one place, eliminating the need to use multiple wallets. Additionally, we plan to sequentially support EVM-based tokens, NFTs, and native tokens of Layer 1 blockchains.

Releasing the Web3 Wallet in the Test Alpha Version App

We are currently releasing the Web3 Wallet features on the testnet within our publicly available test alpha version app. Community testing will be conducted, followed by the official launch.

Future Vision: Web3 Finance Ecosystem
