Social, cultural diversity, and a glitch from reality. A search for the valley of bliss. Where identity, love and peace meet. A safe haven where the skies are blue, everyone is queen, free like the morning dew. It’s slang, music, religion, attire. Everyone doesn’t fit in but wants to, then again who wants to fit in.
Identity, love and peace.
Identity.
The happiest depressed people you’ll ever meet. Bowing to a god known by indoctrination, monolingual, impersonal and an outright ass hole. The day I saw the eyes behind the veil, the unseen smile, forbidden happiness, the longing of freedom, the need for a savior, I saw life, a young girl that just wants to play. A soul that dreams to sail without the shadows lurking.
Love
“ Where do broken hearts go
Can they find their way home
Back to the open arms
Of a love that’s waiting there
And if somebody loves you
Won’t they always love you…
I’ve been around enough to know
That dreams don’t turn to gold
And that there is no easy way
No you just can’t run away…” — Whitney Houston.
Peace
I’ve heard that white flags don’t stop wars. But neither do blue, red and white flags. Welcome to the land of milk and honey, before the purge. We murder your babies but our thoughts and prayers are forever with you. Now lets go back to fight for the rights of far more important things; like men who think are women, or hormonal hoes who sleep with anyone.
