What we’ve been up to…
July has been a busy month for the Symbioses team so far, filled with a host of conferences, networking events and meet-ups taking place around the globe. It’s an exciting time for blockchain technology, and people from around the world have been getting together and discovering how this pioneering technology is shaping the future.
The Symbioses team has been working tirelessly over the last few weeks to build solid relationships with the biggest names in the blockchain industry.
The month began with a Symbioses sponsored BBQ in Venice, CA, which brought industry thought leaders, analysts, and core team members together to discuss the Symbioses vision. The team also discussed community building and strategy moving forward.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong, a city bustling and exploding with blockchain innovation, was the chosen location in which Symbioses was publicly introduced to the world. There, Symbioses hosted an exclusive dinner and invite-only meet-up at the world famous mansion on 12B Bowen Rd.
Co sponsors of the Decentralized Future Mansion Party included Agora and Ubanx. Guests of the private dinner included those from funds, family offices and venture capital firms, and when not admiring the breathtaking views of the illuminated city from beside the infinity pool, attendees learned about the inner-workings of the platform and the overall Symbioses mission statement and vision.
After the dinner, the doors were opened to the rest of the guest list, where people from all corners of the blockchain world were able to enjoy a variety of entertainment such as a live DJ, whiskey tasting, texas hold’em, or simple networking with like minds on the terrace.
Symbioses then hosted a panel with Agora and Ubanx, and discussed how blockchain is being used to disrupt cloud based computing. The event exceeded all expectations and spurred interest in the project across the blockchain community in Hong Kong.
The days after the event were packed with meeting after meeting in Hong Kong, igniting significant interest in the project as the team met with major players in the space.
The team then gathered in a suite on the 25th floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, which was also hosting the RISE 2018 conference, and held various private meetings with investors, funds and exchanges, where they gave working demonstrations of the project.
South Korea
In Seoul, word had already begun to spread about Symbioses before the team had even landed, as people who had seen the demonstrations in Hong Kong began letting friends and colleagues know all about the project.
On July 19th, Symbioses sponsored a yacht event, and apart from providing a great opportunity to view the vibrant city of Seoul from the bay, the event allowed the team to meet with various high-level investors and funds to discuss the project. The team continued networking into the night, attending the popular all-white party and meeting with the largest Korean syndicates, international investment funds, family offices, major Korean exchanges and blockchain professionals from around the world.
The overall support and interest shown in the Symbioses project in recent weeks has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are both excited and thrilled to be talking with some of the most influential, revered individuals in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. The team has many more meetings and events lined up during this busy month, but we will continue to keep you updated on our movements as things progress.
