July
New Сross-chain ETH Pool
The summer continued in an interesting way: we added ETH to our Octopool, a decision aimed at enhancing the user experience by making numerous swap destinations even more advantageous. Linea Integration
Linea swaps added! This means Symbiosis users can now smoothly swap tokens not only across different blockchains but also on Linea, the innovative zkEVM rollup network from Consensys.
Mantle Integration
One chain in a month wasn’t enough for us, so we added Mantle as well! With the help of Symbiosis users can now effortlessly hop onto the Mantle Network from any other chain.
August
Base integration
Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 chain that provides a secure, cost-effective, and developer-friendly platform for on-chain projects. We recognized its value immediately, so in August, we integrated Base into our system.
Revised $SIS Token Utility and Implementation Plan
The SIS token predates the Symbiosis Mainnet, and we recognized the importance of giving the token a refresh. We’ve devised a comprehensive plan to enhance the token’s utility.
It is divided into the following phases:
- Liquidity Pool Rewards Exclusively for veSIS Holders,
- Gas Refunds for veSIS holders,
- Partner Incentivization, and
- L2 Verified Pass.

Launching $SIS Token on Linea
A cross-chain project needs a cross-chain token! This principle guides us as we add the $SIS token to different networks because it would be odd for us to limit our token to just one chain. We firmly believe that Linea is an excellent choice to expand the SIS token’s reach to yet another blockchain.

In the fall, we geared up for two big announcements. Any guesses?
Tron DAO Voting
Yes, the rumors you have heard are accurate. Symbiosis is adding Tron in 2023. However, this decision wouldn’t have been final without the approval of our DAO, and we’ve initiated a vote. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with nearly unanimous support from our Symbiotes.
Offline Conferences
We started our journey in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, to attend Korea Blockchain Week 2023. It was our pleasure to meet and learn from Dan Held (@danheld), Arthur Hayes (@CryptoHayes), Vitalik Buterin (@VitalikButerin), and a number of crypto visionaries and thought leaders. Grateful for the opportunity to connect with the best in the field, driving innovation and shaping the future of blockchain!
Then our team went to TOKEN2049, the foremost crypto event in Singapore. Celebrating the privilege of gathering alongside pioneering crypto visionaries and enlighteners at TOKEN2049 was an extraordinary experience! Engulfed in a dynamic atmosphere of innovation and collaboration, the event proved to be a melting pot of revolutionary ideas and transformative discussions. Engaging with these brilliant minds not only expanded our understanding of the crypto landscape but also fueled our own enthusiasm for the limitless possibilities of blockchain technology.

We’ve added a new feature — Bridge as a Service (BaaS). With BaaS powered by Symbiosis, you can easily bridge tokens of your favorite projects between blockchains without intermediaries.
