Initial Prototype of “Technology” for the Aquarius Collection

Beyond the Kanon NFT words that will be personally meaningful to you lies the world of Kanon NFT rarity. What makes your Kanon NFT rare? Is it the word? The art? The AI? Customers pinging the word? All of the above?

Integrating vocabulary words, generative art, and AI into our NFT has resulted in a fairly complex and continuously evolving value factor across each NFT in the Aquarius Collection. Ultimately, the complexity of the Kanon NFT incorporates not only a rarity system, but also rank. And it’s these two systems, combined, which help to determine your NFTs prime value in the Synesis Metaverse (and across our beneficiary’s customer base).

In today’s article we’ll uncover all of the rarity parameters for the Kanon NFT — everything that relates to the visuals that will appear on your NFT. And next week we’ll talk about the words that were selected for this collection and how they rank. From there we think you’ll get a pretty good picture of the Kanon NFTs that will stand out among the rest!

Rarity Determines Value

When the Aquarius Collection was being developed the artists determined elements of the overall artistic look across several categories that were then encoded into the algorithm to produce the final look. In this regard, the rarity parameters are not at all uncommon to PFP NFTs.

The Kanon NFT utility, which we spoke of earlier this week, further accentuates the rarity of the entire Aquarius collection, but at an individual level your NFT will have the following individual attributes that will impact its rarity:

  • physical attributes that are exclusive to the collection and the artist(a) who created it
  • indivisibility
  • copyright/ownership
  • speculative value

The key to determining rarity is understanding how your word will evolve over time and across industries that wish to utilize our beneficiaries’ AI.

Rarity Parameters in the Aquarius Collection

Some of the most valued traits are the artistic aspects such as color, textures, typefaces, and uniqueness of the image itself. These attributes fall into two specific sub-parameters for rarity:

  • Visual design
  • Systematic incorporations

There are 6 rarity categories tied to the visual design component:

Black & White vs. Color

Color progression for rarity

Black and white is the most common, followed by single color, then multicolor. On the rarity scale, the more colors contained within the image, the rarer it is.

Color Palettes

Color Combinations

The artists incorporated a color palette theme for continuity, but with generative art, there are endless possibilities. The more unique or individualistic the color combination is, the rarer your image will be.

Typefaces

Fonts

This category refers to font (style and size) and whether the characters are bold, italicized, capitalized, etc. For example, the Pitch Sans typeface is common, while Disturbance typeface is rare.

Textures

Generative Texture Layers

Aquarius Collection images contain generative texture layers. The more layers or even uniqueness of the combination of layers, the image will be more rare.

Word Placement

Word Placement: 10x10 Grid

Aquarius Collection images are designed on a 10 x 10 grid. There are 9 possible locations for your word: top left, top center, top right, center left, center, center right, bottom left, bottom center, and bottom right.

Generative Backgrounds

Aquarius

Generative backgrounds are created by algorithms using a set of parameters predetermined by the artists. They are multi-layered and contain unique elements such as word sizing, word positioning, color combination, pattern combination, pattern density, glyphs, and negative space.

What are Systematic Incorporations?

The remaining rarity component is one of our favorites! These Easter-egg incorporations will be subtly placed into the generative background of your NFT in the form of small text-you’ll be able to explore your NFT up close to uncover even more.

So, with all of these possibilities, which rarity traits are you hoping will fall onto your NFT?
