The Richest Man On Earth

For 57 years he had had the most amazing view. Everyday he felt like he was the richest man on earth. He knew he had made all the right decisions in life. He had a beautiful wife and 2 incredible daughters. The world was his oyster and anything was possible whenever he saw the sunset over Buenos Aires.

He grew up in a small apartment with his mother and father. His family did not have a lot of money when he was growing up, but his parents made sure to give him and his sister a good life. Everyday he worked hard in school, determined to make a good future for himself and keep his parents happy.

Now he lives in the city with his wife and mother, on of his daughters is in college on a scholarship, and his other daughter just got a job in New York. He can truthfully tell anyone who will listen that he is happy. He looks over a beautiful city everyday and is proud of what he and his family has accomplished.

He looks at the city and says goodnight before turning around and putting down his washcloth. He is done for the day and is ready to go back home to his family. He looks at himself in the newly cleaned windows and smiles at himself as the scaffold.
