From an Industrial Designer’s perspective.

1) Tell us who you are in one sentence.
I am a painter from Budapest who is passionate about industrial design and is now heading towards a career in therapeutic product design.

2) If you weren't a designer, what would you do?
If I weren’t a designer, I would be a fine artist, painting large murals and making sculptural and installation art for the luxury market.

3) What is something you wished you designed, either because you love it, or because you feel you could have done it better?
Blown glass lighting designs by Lindsey Adelman. I just admire the way she combines gorgeous glass forms with ropes and the dimmed light is just right, so that it’s pleasant for the viewer.

4) What was your biggest design mistake?
My biggest design mistake is waiting too long for the “perfect opportunity” to take an important action to be able to arrive at the finish line.

5) What advice would you give someone entering the design field?
Always listen to your mentors, who have decades of experience in what you are trying to achieve. Ask questions, read design articles and be an absorbing sponge!
