We record the data with a custom build software which allows us to record any metrics we’re interested in. For the rest we usually set up event tracking on Google Analytics.

The sample size here wasn’t too big, as we only have a few thousand partners to work with in total. With smaller sample size we focus on picking the right metrics and calculate the significance with a G-test for example. If the difference is high enough it will show up in the results, even if the group we test with is not too big.
