Hi. I’m having a problem with the first step in Illustrator. I import a complex svg file, fill it with a solid color and create a compound path. On the same layer I draw a path over the shape and give it a stroke big enough to cover the shape. Then I save as svg, open it in a text editor and proceed with the next steps. The result is a animation of the whole svg ( shape + path ), so I think there is something I’m doing wrong in Illustrator. Please help :)
