Thoughts before the Game of Thrones Season 7 Finale

Spoiler Warning (if you are not up to date)
So far Season 7 of Game of Thrones has been fast and eventful. Euron Greyjoy proved to be the captain he claimed to be, and then was appointed to be the head of Cersei’s Royal Navy. But we haven’t seen him since his fleet was destroying part of Daenery’s fleet and perhaps blockading the Unsullied at Casterly Rock.
We saw the wrath a grown dragon can unleash on a battlefield when Daenerys rode Drogon to the reach in the “loot train” scene. Now we can understand why Aegon forced so many to bend the knee when he flew West on Balerion, with Visenya on Vhagar and Rhaenys on Meraxes. Drogon’s fire turned soldiers into ash right before Jamie Lannister’s eyes. But he still had the balls to charge the damn thing in attempt to kill Daenerys. Luckily for him Bronn saved his skin from dragonfire, and somehow managed to swim away from Daenerys’ forces.
And now the Night King has an “undead dragon” or an “ice dragon” that breathes fire or ice, who knows, after he took out Viserion with a spear. My only guess as to why the Night King chose to take out a flying Viserion as opposed to a stationary, and larger Drogon was that Viserion was burning his army of wights at the time. The Night King is starting to look like a serious threat, but it’s not like he didn’t before with an army of dead soldiers and the power to resurrect his enemies once he’s slain them. The Night King’s biggest power move thus far also comes as Daenerys’ biggest L. Now Daenerys is down to two dragons.
I was hoping Viserion would be rode by Tyrion, as I’m still holding out hope he’s a Targaryen. Now we can only hope that Jon learns of his Targaryen lineage, and eventually rides Rhaegal. Will Jon learn who his real father was before or after pursuing Dany? I suppose that doesn’t really matter considering they’re both Targaryen, and Targaryens are into the whole “keeping the Valyrian bloodline pure” thing.
We’ve seen Arya display her incredible fighting skills against Brienne. Despite being a hardened assassin, her detective work is subpar. We know she stands behind Jon as the King in the North, but her plans and intentions are a mystery. I think that’s one of the bigger questions in the show right now. I couldn’t put my finger on why she handed the Valyrian dagger to Sansa towards the end of Beyond the Wall. Does she want Sansa to kill Littlefinger herself? Was she showing just how unafraid of Sansa she is? I really don't know. But I know they need to hurry up and get on the same page and deal with Littlefinger before he’s schemes up more havoc.
And Bran, my apologies the Three Eyed Raven, needs to get in the damn game. The guy has the power to see the past and warg into animals to see half way across the world. I don’t know all the capabilities of the Three Eyed Raven, but he needs to be utilized. Can you tell Jon that Rhaegar is his father at least?
The most notable deaths so far have been Cersei forcing Ellaria Sand to watch her daughter Tyene rot, Lady Olenna before telling Jamie that he poisoned Joffrey, Dickon and Randyll Tarly scorched by Drogon, Thoros from the wounds of a dead bear, and Walder with the rest of the Freys at the hands of Arya. Oh yea, and VISERION! The magnitude of Viserion’s death should be enough, but I don’t think that’s how Game of Thrones works. I think we can expect someone to be offed this finale but the question is who.
I think we all expect Cersei to remain stubborn, power hungry, and deceitful. I don’t see her aligning herself with Daenerys, even considering she’s about to see a wight and hear what Jon and now Dany have to say. I expect her to be cunning and plan some kind of trap or betrayal. But what kind of plan can she scheme up? Whether she is actually pregnant or not doesn’t matter, she’s got Jamie right back into the “us against the world” mindset. Who knows if he’ll be able to talk any sense into her or will even want to at this point.
The Night King now has a wight Viserion, and he’s either going to fly over the wall on it or destroy part of the wall with it. The White Walkers and their army of dead soldiers is marching south. If the realm wants any chance of survival they need to be ready to fight. And all the living united together would be ideal.
