As an editor I can understand you… “tend to notice when words stand on their own two legs and reveal the writer’s core intention or unintentionally teeter off track.”
In my opinion — and beyond grammar… I believe the beauty, magic and mystery of a poem lies in the amalgamation of different interpretations. I marvel at the diverse unraveling of it by the writer and readers.
