Introduction
Welcome to the Darkness Down Below.
You are about to embark upon a journey, underground, into the dark recesses of your mind, the Earth, your subconscious.
Nine challenges await you. Nine times will you be tested.
Approach each task in whatever way best suits your own needs. Write. Draw. Paint. Dance. Collage. Sew. Whatever it is that you do, whatever it is that inspires you, explore that. Keep in mind, exploring other genres is also highly encouraged and valued here. If you normally write, don’t be afraid to collage. If you normally draw, don’t be afraid to paint. If you normally paint, don’t be afraid to sew. So on and so forth.
These are ideas only, not rock-solid rules. Allow your imagination and your creativity to flow.
Enjoy the process. Revel in the process. Although there is an end to this workshop, believe that the journey is what is important, not the end results.
