Slow down sometime this Summer and start a conversation!

Happy Summer, TableTalkers! We hope you are relaxing and soaking up the sun. Though summer can pull us away from one another until we get back to campus in the Fall, summer can be the perfect time to engage in conversation with someone whom you typically aren’t able to reach during the year.

Here are some fun summer conversation starters to #InitiateTheConversation and get your creative juices flowing! Let us know if you have any other ideas to add to the list!

If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be?

What’s the last conversation you had that left an impact on you?

What is your go-to summer snack?

What do you do to get rid of stress?

If you had zero plans or obligations tomorrow, how would you spend your day?

What did this school year teach you?

What is your favorite season and why?

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Why?

What do you bring with you everywhere you go?

Would you prefer to live somewhere with one season lasting primarily throughout the year or a place where all four seasons come and go?

What books or podcasts are you loving right now?

How do you keep your mind engaged during the summer?

What is your favorite summer song?

Do you use technology more or less during the summer vs. during the year?

What flavor of ice cream do you wish existed?

When do you feel the most relaxed?

If you could do anything in the world today, no limitations, what would it be?

We hope these are helpful in starting some summertime conversations between now and August! Take the time to #StartTheConversation and connect with someone you wouldn’t normally engage with so you feel energized going into the school year. See you all in the Fall!
