No. I just got back from Central America. All travel advice suggested leaving phones at home because you can’t really use them there without big fees.
I think saying, “I left my phone at home so the cell company doesn’t give me a reason to file for bankruptcy,” would not be perceived as anything out of the ordinary.
This post stinks of such bulltatti that it’s worth discussing. You made incredibly low-effort troll-bait on a brand new account and got pissed when the same behaviour was accepted on Quora and not on /r/India. /r/India has strict rules because it has been, and will be, a total and utter shithole without those rules. The time before the 2014 elections…
Wow I am so stunned by this. Leaving aside the fact that the question (Why is Religion Important to Indian Muslims?) presupposes that religion is important to Muslims in India, and that why would anyone ask a question like that? (I would love to ask Modi why Hindutva is so important to him)
What errors? I am confused what you are even talking about. We have extensive logging on the AWS back-end with Lambda & CloudWatch. There aren’t errors occurring — there are requests which are blocked from old systems with no access that are incurring cost.
It’s not the cost here. We already moved to AWS Lambda / DynamoDB w/ API Gateway. All of our requests move through a proxy. Our costs with AWS are already in the $3,000 a month range and it’s acceptable since it is where 95% of our apps processing occurs. Firebase is just for the realtime part. The point here is unexpected costs that had zero warning…
Crazy Story by the “Home Automation”. They mention they tried to reach out to the Google Support, but they didn’t get much response.
When they wrote an article on medium website, and made their problem public, and people started to notice, then comes the co-founder of firebase apologizing on the circumstances.
Just two minor nitpicks, right at the top:
> Automatic scheduling(timetabling) comes under a special set of mathematical problems named as NP Complete which makes it impossible to generate and validate solutions ‘quickly’.
