Day 17. Last dinner at Benihana

Today we had the last full day in San Francisco, so we decided to book a table and have dinner at the Japanese cuisine restaurant Benihana.
The concept of the restaurant is the following – meals are theatrically prepared by a knife-wielding, joke-telling chef at a table in front of the guests. So as we approached the restaurant, we were seated around the wooden table and suggested to order drinks.

Even though the chef was a young Mexican guy, he already had developed the skills to impress the audience. The food and sake was delicious, so we left Benihana with wide smiles on our faces.

Tomorrow we’re getting back to Europe from this exciting trip. Happy to get back to the daily challenges, but hoping to come back again here one day.
