African Americans face racism, but they also commit violent crimes at about 700% the rate that other groups do (i.e. 52% of murders committed by AA’s though only 13% of the population)

No doubt, extra police attention, and indeed plain old racism, and poverty — account for some of the difference. But not close to all of it.
