TL;DR: If you’re a talented individual seeking a job in tech, companies will compete for you at www.tailspin.io.

The traditional job search sucks. Between resume editing, LinkedIn stalking, networking events and recruiters, it’s the pits. And in a market where tech companies say they can’t hire people fast enough, why are we still jumping through all of these hoops? It doesn’t make sense.

Employers are having a hard time, too. Big tech companies get flooded with under-qualified applicants, and the rest get ignored. Everyone wants to source high quality candidates, but it’s really hard to find them. In a demand-driven market, recruiting is essential.

Enter the recruiter: they send you emails about jobs at previous employers you’d never go back to, they ignore the Do Not Call list and it’s generally annoying to deal with them. To add insult to injury, they’re incredibly expensive for employers and usually provide no value other than access to candidates. So how do you take the recruiter out of tech recruiting?

Tailspin provides job seekers and employers the right kind of access to each other. Job seekers can advertise the job they want and why they can do it, and they can be sure that their current employer won’t find out. Employers have a place to go to connect with and assess potential candidates based on their qualifications and interest. With an arm’s-length hand shake, the two parties can share contact information with as good of a chance of conversion as any recruiter can provide.

www.tailspin.io is a demand-driven, tech job marketplace where job seekers post the job they want and employers invite them to interviews. Check it out.
