Brands typically also look at engagement percentages — if you have 1M followers but only 1,000 of them (0.1%) engage with your content (likes, comments, etc.) then it’s not great. The numbers I’ve given assume standard rates of engagement. On Instagram, for example, a 2–5% engagement rate is decent, above 5% is very good.
