Five of the terrorists involved in the Paris and Brussels attacks — attacks which left over 160 innocent civilians dead — received almost $75,000 in welfare benefits while they were plotting their barbarism.

Liberals have long held on to the “politically correct” notion that asking immigrants to adopt the culture, values, and attitudes of their new homes is somehow racist. That attitude is of course ridiculous. This recent news from Paris and Brussels highlights the danger of national policies that allow unfettered immigration, but refuse to encourage assimilation.

When immigrants to France and Belgium were given generous welfare benefits and told that they did not need to integrate into their new homelands, a segregated society of immigrants dependent on government handouts was inevitable. The introduction of radical Islam into that equation made Islamic Terrorism unavoidable.
