When I started my journey to become a Web Designer the action that really propelled me to make this my career was learning to code. However, there are so many things that go into creating a great website that at some point I feel it’s best to leave it to the professionals to dev out.

On the other hand, in my experience, it’s not necessarily acceptable for a designer to hand the developer the code they want to use. It can leave a bad taste in some developers mouths and strain the already (probably) strained relationship.

I think in general we all just need to learn to communicate better.
