Why use an exclamation mark unless you are reporting your own sudden death?
I saw Shashi Kapoor in the flesh for the first time as he rode atop a makeshift chariot and led the 2005 India Day Parade down 5th Ave. in New York City. Later that evening, nursing an incredible hunch of who I’m just about to run into — an uncanny foretelling the likes of which have punctuated my life before and since — I saw Shashi Kapoor again!
