About the Airport

Since Memorial Day 1930, Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, has been a friendly, convenient facility for flying into or out of the San Fernando Valley a few miles northwest of the most popular Los Angeles (LA) attractions and destinations. Airport visitors return again and again for its quick and easy travel service by Alaska, Delta, JetBlue, SeaPort, Southwest, and United Airlines and by US Airways.

Personal Services

Porters at the entrances to Terminals A and B are always ready to help with baggage and gear, and the airport police at the Terminal A main entrance operate a lost and found desk to help recover lost and misplaced property and respond to security concerns. The porters and police officers are devoted to friendly service and glad to answer any and all questions.

Shops and Food Services

Paradies food servers and shopkeepers are quick to accommodate customers in a hurry and attentive to those with extra time before their flights. The Lunch Box, located centrally between conjoined Terminals A and B outside the security checkpoints, provides complete restaurant and bar service. Other food and beverage providers are available on the other side near the airline gates.

Disability Services

An escalator and elevator offer easy access to the walkway from the baggage claim areas of the terminals to the transportation center, and the moving walkway minimizes actual walking distance and time. Free wheelchair assistance to the rental car counters is available at the main terminal entrance and from the car rental counters as well. All restroom facilities can accommodate disabled users.

No fewer than nine teletypewriter (TTY) phones for the deaf are available at in both terminals. Visual paging monitor and visual relay service stations are present in both secured and unsecured area of both terminals.
