Week 8
One week of holiday plus my best cousin’s wedding – Ashraff. Monday I was still chilling at JB and watched Christopher Robin movie. The movie is average although I love Winnie The Pooh. On Tuesday, I participated as a facilitator to welcome my year 1 OT junior students. Time flies and today I am a year 3 OT senior student! Wednesday and Thursday were the only rest day for me and managed to use the time to do my Cambodia medical trip in December. Doing housework and for sure cooking and trained BJJ. Friday onwards, is the wedding! Had a haircut and I felt that the hair doesn’t suit me but not others. As a groomsman for my Cousin’s wedding, it was great. I can’t describe by word but I’m proud of myself to be an useful person on that weekend and to perform beyond the limit. I would say, I’m not so ready for school on Monday but Glad that I am on time to school and writing this on my train to One North.

Quote of the week
It’s a new semester
I wish you
A new beginning
New ways of learning
New room to grow in
We will celebrate your good news
And overcome those bad ones
And when you have
An essay to review
Energy to renew
Need a hot brew
Or just something to chew
I will be here through and through
Together we’ll begin anew
By my favourite teacher. Thank you!
What to improve
I’m not good at saying goodbye for sure. I know that I will visit my Uncle and Aunt less frequent after this wedding cos my Cousin’s Wife is staying with them. Two reasons. One, I’m close to my uncle’s family, I will cook there, play games, chill and talk and be an useful person. I feel that now is the wife turn to cherish her moment, bond and experience the love that I gain when I stayed with my Uncle’s for more than a year. I want her to enjoy cooking with my aunt, play games with the twins, talk with my uncle, and enjoy the company of my nieces and nephews who staying one floor below my Uncle house. Two, I want to give space for my cousin to be comfortable with his role as a husband, adjusting his lifestyle and same for his wife.
My aunt maybe knew me well and she told that, after this marriage nothing should have changed. Yeah, we will see how.
