This article is not railing against success, but rather the generational roots of that success — in a quite twee manner.

What is the value to society in increased inter-generational wealth? In the plutocratic class?

It is one of the major failings of capitalism — which drives many positive factors in our society, however it is the focus of wealth on those that did not earn it (who then feel it is their due) which is a problem.

This is not the case for all wealthy families (or even a majority); many of the richest have a clear view of how lucky their children are and bring them up with a sense of community (such as Bill and Melinda Gates).

This article is a fun poke at the worst excesses of that, Trust Fund kiddies.
