Our western culture has a skewed view of death. There is this weird way of thinking that “good” people or our heroes are always gone way too soon, yet we cheer the deaths of those who have been deemed a villain.

The good guys are supposed to live forever and we often say things like ‘Life is too short’ or refer to their age and say they were too young to die. All ideas to comfort the living.
