It feels like much of the Trump movement is playing on this angry adolescent impulse within his supporters. The very concept that an “anti-establishment outsider” can govern better than people who have education, knowledge, and hard fought experience under their belts belies an utterly immature and naive understanding of what effective governance really requires. Would u let a 7 year old drive your semi-truck? Hell no. Unless out of some weird, giddy, impulsive, self-destructive whim you just felt like running it into the ground.
