We need to teach our students not everyone will agree with them…and that’s ok

We need to teach our students (and perhaps also our teachers) that differences exist so that we can learn and grow from them. That if everyone does not agree with you then that means there is more for you learn, understand and grow from. Is that bad?!
Why do some differences make us feel so threatened that we seek to dig our heels in rather than to understand that they are just other view points?
Without other view points different from our own, we may grow selfish and marcissistic.
