Travis Johnson and Tammy Lea Meyer: Peer to peer collaborations

This is an experiment in open and generative creativity. What happens when two strangers meet, and connect on what is important to them? Wanna find out?….

It was an honour and pleasure to meet Travis Johnson today, facilitated yet again by Caroline Smalley from the Impact Economy Summit and the Citizens Media. Travis and Caroline met in 2011 at an event where Travis was performing, and they have recently gotten back in touch. Travis watched a recent podcast that Caroline and I (Tammy) put together, and wanted to connect and go a bit deeper into the ideas. Yay! I love this kind of organic outreach and connection.

Unfortunately Caroline was struck by a visual migraine, and could not make the call… but check out our podcast. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful collaboration.

Our next steps: I’m going to put Travis in touch with Daniel Harris of Kendra.io, look into how people outside of the US can volunteer to help Bernie Sanders, and we will meet with Caroline next week on Wednesday! Also, Travis and I will do a follow up podcast on Monday. We’ll keep you posted.
