To support Needy and Deserving Children
Problem Identification: Education is In Pakistan there are many families who can not bear the expenses of their children education due to some problems.Each house has its own environment and its own problems. Due to these problems, Children suffer and leave their education. They involve themselves in child labor so that they can support their families. This problem goes on and the next generation does the same thing. As a result, neither the family’s status improves nor the Country Progress grows. According to Mandela
OWN the Problem: We are Amal family. We are fresh graduates who have capacity to utilize their capabilities and assets to own this problem and to solve this.
Brainstorming: Here comes our the most interesting thing to do. “Brainstorming to find solutions with no bound”. After this activity we came with five steps to solve the problem.
- Open a welfare society at university level
- Give tuition to students who want
- To involve other universities in our societies activities
- To engage other startups ( Teach for Pakistan, PSWO)
- To engage NGO’s who has same vision
Implementation of first solution and feedback: In this implementation, we have started a Welfare society in which students from our PU will be able to get membership. The members will support the society with according to their ‘Istatat’ in form of money. It may be 100, 200, 300 rupees etc. The society will identify the families in nearby PU and poor areas of Lahore. After that it will support them in two ways.
- By paying the school fees of needy students
- By giving food essentials to needy family in order to eliminate child labor
Feedback:Its a relatively new idea and hes been implemented. As a result, society s getting good response from their members. Pakistan is a loving country so they look for right ways to help others.
Note: Society will support only those families who want their children to get education.
Other solutions: We support the children by giving them free education so that there will be no burden financially on them. By involving other universities, we can get more funding and can support our vision in a better way. By having help from other startups and NGOs, we can explore more ways to help.
