What a lovely, heartwarming story for this cold morning. It’s so wonderful to read about accepting parents and communities who just want people to be able to live a happy and fulfilling life.
Beautiful, Indira Reddy. And so true. I have often marvelled at the stories that get handed down about love, and wondered why there aren’t more tales of the non-tragic kind. It seems much wiser and more fulfilling — and almost certainly more difficult — to live for love than to die for it.
“Top writer” reminds me of when I was a top ultramarathon runner because none of the really fast marathon runners wanted to step up to the distances I was covering. And I’m pretty sure they stuck with marathons because there was more money in it.
