About JMAN
JMAN Group is a technology-enabled management consultancy that works across a large number of sectors, with a particular focus on the Private Equity and investor communities. JMAN engages with many different companies and types of organizations from big to small, established to start-up, and large-cap to high-growth funds. In so doing, JMAN Group focuses on providing simple and actionable solutions, however complex the problem.
I applied to JMAN via college in the Software Engineer FTE role. It was a pool campus drive and several colleges from Kolkata were a part of it.
The Online Assessment consisted of two rounds L1 assessment and L2 assessment:
L1 Assessment:
It consisted of 20 questions in 30 minutes. 10 questions were from quantitative aptitude and 10 were Technical questions (Basically pseudo code output types of questions).
This round was quite easy and could be easily solved.
You can practice Aptitude from IndiaBIX and it is more than enough and if you have a basic knowledge of coding, you can easily get the output of the pseudo-codes.

L2 Assessment:
It consisted of 8 questions: 4 coding and 4 SQL questions. It was held on the hackerrank platform.
As far as I remember the coding questions were:
- Given a vector of string, for each string find whether it is panagram or not.
- It was a variation of the Group Anagram question from LeetCode.

- It was on String Manipulation but a bit tricky.
I really couldn't remember the question of SQL but all were on JOINS where two questions were easy and two were of medium level. If you Practice from hackerrank, you will be able to solve all.
