Cleaning and Clearing your magickal home

Magickal creatures are especially sensitive to negative energies. Clutter and dust are not just unsightly, they can be downright unhealthy for sensitives. We need to be vigilant about maintianing our homes and sacred spaces. This can be especially challenging when we lead busy, creative, magickal lives. Some nights it is all I can do to feed myself and shower before crawling into bed! I like to double up on tasks whenever I can- expecially when it comes to housework.

At some point, you’re going to have to clean your floors, baseboards, doorknobs, switchplates, and possibly the walls and doors themselves. Random finger prints, hand prints, and smudges happen. Cold and Flu season strikes and you need to tend to the often touched but rarely cleaned surfaces. Why not scrub them down with a little magick while you’re at it and recharge your protective wards and barriers?

Here’s What You Need:

A pot for mixing up your wash water

A coffee filter or some cheesecloth

A buit os butchers string to secure the herb bundle

1 Gallon Water

1 Cup Salt

1/8 cup white vinegar

1/8 cup castille soap

Essential Oils

Directions:

Create your herb bundle and ties it shut with string. Submerge in cooking vessel. Add salt. Add boiling water over the top and allow the herbs to steep until the water is cool. [Crafty witches might employ the use of an electric coffee maker to make their herb water].

Mix herb water with vinegar. castille soap and oils.

Wash surfaces while visualizing your intention.

Energy Clearing Blend:

Basil, Hyssop, Rue, and Pine Needles.

Super Fast Negativity Busting Blend:

Add a bag of peppermint tea. For real.
