Marin Headlands

this place holds a lot of memories for us. we’ve stayed several times now, and its beauty always holds a special and aloof splendor. its far away and fantastical yet still only about 30 minutes tops from the city. theres miles of hills for hiking, breathtaking views of the Golden Gate bridge, and Point Bonita lighthouse, where my sister got married (view some select photos here http://www.abryanphoto.com/weddings/selects.php?id=32 …….it was really a wedding weekend, and we rented one of the hostel buildings for the wedding party which made it very intimate).

obviously its a beautiful hostel to enjoy mornings

Rodeo Beach, just down from our hostel

theres a travel journal sitting on the desk and i enjoyed reading many quite different entries. I find these at many places i stay and defienitely reccomend that if you do, you read as much as you can. you can find out about some juicy stuff. anyway, this poem was written in the back of the book and i thought it was absolutely beautiful, albeit slightly shameless advertismenet at the botoom. i dont mind though, maybe ill facebok him.
