Tech-blogs with a twist!

Hello everybody!

Introducing myself, I’m Tanmay Joshi, describing myself as a traveler and blogger by passion and a techie by profession. I’ve always loved writing, but so far I have always written about non-tech topics: Food, travel, life experiences, thoughts penned for my son and so on. I have always found myself to carry a certain love for storytelling, which reflects in my blogs, and also to an extent in my official presentations.

So when I decided to take up tech-blogging, I thought “let’s make it different, let’s not be ‘one more’ tech-blogger out there!”

I’m coming up on my 18th work anniversary in December 2022. It’s hard to believe that kids born the year I started supporting desktops for a tiny four-figure salary, will now be adults! Anyway, I have spent 10 of those 18 years in FSI related pre-sales roles across various organizations, which has in itself been a very enriching experience. What it has also done, is give me insights into many of the issues faced by banks on the floor — which in many cases are unique to that industry.

So, here goes — my blogs are going to be episodic and conversational in nature, and will center around a bank: “Cygnos Imperial Bank”. It will feature characters attempting to solve real-world problems, and a very special ‘Superhero’ who will solve them.
