Many of us have heard or advised by the air pumping station person to fill up the tyres with Nitrogen than simply air. Why so? And why should we fill tyres with nitrogen than air? To know the answers to such questions continue reading.

Reason №1

Tyre pressure remains constant for more time than air because nitrogen molecules are less likely to migrate from rubber tyres than air.

Due to this pressure also remains constant at high temperatures.

Reason №2

Also, the dry air carries water vapour in it so it is easy to get rusty rims, whereas this is not the case in nitrogen-filled with tyres.

Reason №3

Tyres filled with nitrogen maintain pressure over a long period of time so they are more fuel-efficient as low-pressure tyres consume more fuel.

Reason №4

Also, this reduces the chance of tyre bursting on hot roads at high speed.

Reason №5

Also tyre life, endurance and stability increases.
