Paper Rex has reached Verbal Agreement with Global Esports’ Star player Monyet

Paper Rex, a Singaporean esports organization, has reportedly has reached a Verbal Agreement with Global Esports' star player Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha. Paper Rex’s signing of Monyet is reportedly one of the biggest deals in Valorant esports history in Asia, eclipsing the previous record set by sScary’s transfer to Bleed Esports.

Monyet was the 4th best performing player (by rating) in VCT Pacific League, averaging a rating of 1.29. His addition to Paper Rex is a major coup for the team.

Paper Rex is signing Monyet to replace Jinggg, who will be unable to compete in the upcoming VCT due to his mandatory national service in Singapore. The NS will take Jinggg away from the competitive Valorant scene for at least two years. Paper Rex is signing Monyet to fill the void left by Jinggg.
