It’s not just the simplistic jeans that play a role in ensuring that your entire ensemble functions. It is equally crucial to deliberate the dress shoes you prefer, and every detail in your ensemble should match your selected dress shoe.

Do you ever encounter yourself wondering if it’s likely to wear dress shoes with jeans? Or Do you find it challenging to choose a go-to footwear brand to get comfortable with? I’m here to help you find the correct answers to these questions.

The key to pulling off this look seamlessly is enduring by a few rules:

  • There are thousands of types of jeans out there. Well, perhaps not that many — but more than a lot. Finding a dress shoe and a brand to get comfortable with is a challenge in the ocean of the footwear industry. I tried and tested a brand of luxury shoes named Tan & Taw. This brand is providing top-notch colors and patterns currently in vogue, that too in genuine leather shoes, and yes, of course, the most important thing is price: The shoes are priced moderately affordable.
  • Well, all jeans are informal. Some kinds are more formal than others. Opt for the dressier type. Distressed denim jeans, holes and rugged patterns, and jeans with a more delicate wash are all more-casual and will undoubtedly match Tan & Taw’s loafers slip-on shoes. Also, opt for denim jeans that fit perfectly in the hips and the waist. Watch the length of the jeans and see to it that they are not too long and just perfect on the ankle of the feet.
  • Always choose jeans that have a more tapered fit at the bottom. Boot-cut jeans will work with Tan & Taw’s double monk strap shoes. Never go with a baggy fit but opt for a slim or standard cut.
  • As for shade, you will not go mistaken with dark indigo jeans or even a black duo. It may surprise you but shaded denim — provided it is the right fit and length — can work with Tan & Taw’s black oxford shoes men or walnut brown oxford whole cut dress shoes.
  • Try to match the rhythm of the attire; just try to make sure that there is enough contrast between the jeans and the dress shoes, so they do not appear to match exactly. A question to ask is: What about skinny jeans? Skinny jeans are too tight at the thighs and calves, and the dress shoes look more like funny shoes.
  • Select a pair that bends more on the casual side when selecting a dress shoe. Oxford shoes and monk shoes are great to dress shoes, and they are on the more formal end of the spectrum and will therefore work with jeans.
  • Loafers are considered ideal summer shoes despite their Norwegian heritage. They combine seamlessly with jeans. Tan and Taw’s Norway tan loffer shoes are still casual, so wear them confidently and maintain the legacy.
  • Even though you’re modeling jeans — the fact you’ve chosen dress shoes, whether it be Tan & Taw’s stylish whole-cut shoes or double monk shoes, you need to set your basis point you need to elevate the whole look.
  • Obtaining dress shoes in harmony with the jeans, you have to keep your different leathers in your senses. The fundamental rule of thumb is to match your leathers, such as a leather watch strap. You can create your life more comfortable by nailing the most visual piece of leather most men model apart from shoes: the belt. That being said, they don’t need to correspond exactly. The nearer you get them, the more acceptable.
