Kochi/Cochin is a beautiful city situated in “God’s own country” Kerala. We (me and my hubby) planned the tour to explore this scenic view. As we heard and google about it a lot, and excited to visit the place for its best culinary.

We made our plan to start from Munnar, it is 13 hrs.journey from Bangalore(the city where we currently living)

NON-A/C sleeper

Excitement reached high when the next morning gives us its own spectacular views. Yes! we were on a hill ride since 4 am morning.

THE VIEW!! from the bus window

GREAT! The driver stopped at Marayoor which is 2.5 hrs. away from the main destination for breakfast, was also spectacular by its own beauty.

After reached(!) we got a nice and decent cottage.

MY HUBBY with local :)

We got refreshments and guided to the sightseeing, as we planned :)

It was really amazing experience! with fog and splash of rain!!

Spent a day and a super cold night in this beautiful hill station in the southern part of India we had a variety of chocolates and special tea from its own tea gardens!!

Varieties of Chocolates
Tea (extreme left), Slice cake (top) and Choco Tart (extreme right)
Kerala style Thali

Planswise we left Munnar early morning to reach our next destination, Kochi. It was 4hrs.journey by road, as we opted state bus ride. Tourists usually hire a cab. But we wanted more experience!

To reach by bus, have to get down Ernakulam bus depot. Clean, informative and helpful locals showed the way to ferry, as we have to reach Fort Kochi.

ferry ghat

Such beauty! You can spend times on Marine drive to watch the sunset,

Chinese fishing net
And the very famous boat tour!!!

Kochi was a little hot humid in the month of October, but still full of enjoyment!!!

Food was amazingly tasty!!

puttu with curry, the very famous dish from kerala

After lunch, we visited Mattancherry palace

Beautiful! popularly known as the Dutch palace was actually made by Portuguese around the year of 1555. Sorry, no camera allowed inside the palace

Everything around the place is so eye-catchy, no-one can’t resist clicking!!

dinner!

We enjoyed our whole journey a lot! It was really amazing. We made our plan suddenly and packed our bag quickly to make this tour remember forever.

Hope you will enjoy too…
