Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church Goa

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception chapel was built in 1609. It converted into a large church in 1609 by Portuguese ruler. Church Architectural style is Baroque. The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is located in Panjim city which come under Municipal gardens. It is a oldest church of the India. It also has second largest church bell. Church has a statue of the mother Mary. Every year on 8 march church celebrate a festival which dedicated to church related. Lots of people come to visit this church and its festival from not only India but also foreigner countries. The church is white paint polished. The church warns to people “Please do not ring the bell”.

How can reach:- The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is well connected via national highway — 17. It is located in Panjim city which is the capital of the Goa. It is also can access by rail which connects it to all Indian major cities. Its nearest local railway station is Karmali but main railway junction is Margao city which is just 35 kilometers far. Its nearest and main international Dabolim airport is just 26 kilometers far.
