You have been working all day and hardly get time to spend with your family.

Are you aware of the consequences? If not, you should!

In this modern era, every individual is occupied with such a hectic schedule and people have very long working hours that they hardly get time for any leisure activities. In my opinion, there are more demerits of this situation as compared to merits.

On the one hand, people who prefer to work for long hours get some great benefits in terms of promotional as well as professional growth, like a person who invests most of his or her time in the job has a high chance of getting incentives. This ultimately leads to financial growth of the person and one can live a better life and fulfill all the requirements of family too. In addition to this, people working for long hours are seen to have improved productivity and efficiency, resulting in skill enhancement and they will be able to achieve the targets in lesser time.

On the contrary, working long hours can cause detrimental effects on the physical as well as mental well-being of the person. For instance, people develop irritation, stress, and anxiety kind of problems when they spend most of their time at their jobs, moreover, long working hours are also the rising cause of obesity among the current generation.

Additionally, the long working hours also make a negative impact on the relations or with their loved ones as people keep on spending most of their time in offices, and they are unable to make a balance between professional and personal life. Due to this, the family members soon start ignoring them and they start feeling isolated.

To conclude, although there are benefits of working late, it can cause many problems to the personal life of people.
