There she stood
On the edge of hell
Music blaring
Her mind lost, far away
Thoughts scattered to the wind
Every emotion filled her
She overflowed from her eyes
Tears swept away in the storm
The impending disaster felt so good
She felt a smile rise from within
Leaving her breathless
Hair in the wind
Making her surrender to absolute bliss
The pain fluttered and blew away
Left her at last
She let it go
Hands trembling, numb
Aching in anticipation
Waiting for the first raindrops
In that moment
She was gone
She wasn’t there anymore
Only her physical self stood there
She let go of the storm within before the storm engulfed her
Darkness rose from her palms
Setting free the demon she had held captive for ages
Her bandages swept away
Tears washing clean her wounds
And when the first raindrops hit her face
She lost herself
She set her mind free, free to dive into the storm
She screamed
Heard her own voice ring in her ears
Such a powerful sight
She brought the devil to his knees
She was reborn
She had lost herself in him
She found herself in the storm
She was beauty in chaos
She was the devil personified
An angel with secrets as dark and deep as the ocean
The devil smiled in her eyes
She became the monster she feared
The blood in her eyes shone bright
She was a vampire
