Also known as doing once’s job. I have met people, not only in software engineering, who think of themselves to be best and to be able to do perfect work.

This usually leads to:

  • Delays, coz they want you be perfect
  • Annoyed co-workers, coz they herd and protect their work and won’t let anyone see it
  • High levels of toxicity around them.

If I can help it, I rather not work with those people.
