List of Top SMS APIs to Send Bulk SMS, Transactional SMS, OTP SMS Worldwide (Updated on 2020)
There are many bulk SMS API service providers from the big giants to Small startup. SMS marketing in 2020 is still better than email marketing in various ways. Also, if you are in transaction-related business or looking for 2FA solutions, then SMS is always the safest way and accessible way.
Here I’ll list only the SMS APIs gateways, who are providing international bulk SMS services and can be used by the startups or any new business owners.
- SMS.to API — They are are a licensed telecom company in Cyprus, have global quality coverage, and over 100 interconnections. They can offer well priced and high quality messaging for your customers. They are in Pay as You Go model. Just add funds and start sending transactional or Promotional SMS. They offer their SMS API as Communication API that you can use to send SMS notifications, 2FA verification SMS, Promotional SMS, Order updates, etc. They also support Unicode messages, 2way SMS, virtual numbers, and has many other features. They are in Credits based system, so you buy credits and then used it to send SMS. The charges of any message depend on the number of credits consumed, the pricing per credit is according to the country to which you are sending the message. The least amount of credits that can be purchased is 2500 in Promotional, Transactional & SendOTP.
- Textlocal API — is a UK based company, and they have local subsidiaries in most of the countries. However, if you purchase an SMS Number, the inbound SMS will be free though it may vary by the country number you choose.
