Trying to even address the systemic issues leaves one even more frustrated. The WA version of NDIS seems to be the most likely model chosen here. It will not provide for my friend’s needs. My husband and I will continue to provide for it somehow, but we are now seeing that this may not be possible. The systems are designed so people become frustrated and give up. This is known in my house as hoop jumping 101. It’s best described as endurance hula hooping and playing snakes and ladders at the same time. The worst thing is, we aren’t playing game or a sport, we are talking about a person life.
